Yoga Etiquette

Because nobody likes a mat-slapper!

• If it is your first time at the studio, please arrive about 15 minutes early to become familiar with the space.  

• Come comfortable, sweats, yoga pants, capris, tanks tops, t-shirts, don’t worry about your outfit…just come to class.

• Please leave your shoes in the cubbies, yoga is practiced barefoot.  

• Bring a yoga mat, and water if you like.  We do have a water and tea station to enjoy, and a few extra mats.

• Please no cell phones in the yoga studio.  This is time for you and the other yogis to have and enjoy free from the crazy of the day.
 
• Always listen to your body.  If you are recovering from an injury feel free to let the instructor know.  They can give extra modifications to make class comfortable for you.

• If you must leave class early, please do so in a quiet manner.  With that being said, please try not to skip on Savasana at the end of the class.  It is essential for you to absorb the full benefits of your practice.
