I started my yoga journey years ago with no thought about where I would be today. I am a RYT-200 graduate and couldn’t be more excited to share what I have learned and my story.  

A brief background on myself. I was a dancer of tap, ballet and jazz for about 18 years and loved every minute of it.  I dabbled in rowing, kickboxing, thought I might try running…. Key word being try. I then realized how much I enjoyed long bike rides and CrossFit.

I have always had some connection to yoga during all of these other sports. I noticed that yoga gave me strength and flexibility. It gave me the ability to clear my mind and relax more. I have practiced yoga on and off for 10 years. I remember my first class, I thought they were crazy.  People chanting OM and using a gong, what did I get myself into?!  I also remember trying my first Crow pose, falling on my face, getting the pose and still to this day face planting into the ground.
 
My point with this story is that yoga is a journey, and it is different for all of us and can serve us differently at any point in our lives. Whether it is relaxation and restorative yoga, or stretching to balance out the strength training that you do; I would love to help you on your journey.
